Freiborg -- Thalberg

Aimee Freiborg and Mark Thalberg are engaged to be married May 27 at Bethany Reformed Church in Clara City.

Freiborg is the daughter of Dan and Rhonda Freiborg of Sacred Heart.

She is a 2003 graduate of Renville County West High School in Renville, a 2008 graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelor's degree in physical education and expects to graduate this fall with a degree in health education. She is employed as the varsity volleyball coach at MACCRAY High School in Clara City and also as a substitute teacher in the area.

Thalberg is the son of Michael and Twila Thalberg of Spicer.

He is a 2001 graduate of New London-Spicer High School in New London. He earned a law degree in 2009 from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Mich., and expects to graduate in August with a master's of business administration from Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall. He is employed by Schneider and Madsen Law Firm in Willmar.
