Frozen 5K starts Glacial Lakes Series

The Spicer Frozen 5k road race opens the 12-event Glacial Lakes Championship Running Series on Saturday.
The start is at 9 a.m. from Saulsbury Beach. Weather.com lists an overnight low of 21 degrees and high of 30 degrees with strong NW winds.
The 2012 overall Series champions were (female) Tracy Sik of Willmar while Steve Lueders of Kandiyohi and Mick Quinn of Willmar were male co-leaders.
