Galen Rohne March 1, 1948 - June 8, 2009
SPICER -- Galen Rohne, 61, of Spicer, died Monday at St. Cloud Hospital.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in rural Spicer. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar with a parish prayer service at 6:30 p.m. for one hour prior to the service at the church.
He was born March 1, 1948, in Willmar to Evan and Darlene (Nelson) Rohne. He grew up in Willmar and graduated from Willmar High School in 1966.
He married Patricia Palmer. He joined the Navy and was honorably discharged in 1973. He attended Southwest State College in Marshall for business administration. He began working for his parents at Northern Factory Sales in 1974.
He married Carmen Bailey on Dec. 28, 1984, in Svea. He retired in 2005.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter: Shannon of Spicer; a son: Stacy (and Wanita Topal) Rohne of Redwood Falls; three grandchildren; siblings: Nathan (and Sheila) Rohne of Willmar and Rosalyn (and Richard) Graver of Apple Valley.
He was preceded him in death by his parents.
