Garage fire claims life of Hancock, Minn., man
A garage fire Sunday has claimed the life of a Hancock, Minn., man.

The Stevens County Sheriff's Office responded to a garage fire about 7:08 p.m. Sunday at 26147 Old Highway 9, Hancock.
The victim was identified as 53-year-old Loren Melvin Becker.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
The Morris Police Department, Hancock Fire Department, Stevens County Ambulance, Minnesota State Fire Marshall's Office, and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension also assisted with the incident.
The Sheriff's Office is not releasing any other information.
