Girls Basketball: BBE holds off Kimball, 45-41

KIMBALL -- Ashley Kirckof's three-pointer at the halftime buzzer gave Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa a lead it wouldn't give up, edging Kimball 45-41 in Central Minnesota Conference girls basketball Friday.

Kirckof, who finished with 11 points, made her only three-pointer to give the Jaguars (8-6, 13-12) a 27-25 lead at the break.

Shyan Kuefler scored 13 points and pulled down nine rebounds and Maggie Gruber claimed 14 rebounds.
