Girls Basketball: BBE rallies past Hancock

HANCOCK -- Heidi Lensing netted 23 points to help Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa rally from a double-digit deficit as the Jaguars upended Hancock 61-54 in a non-conference girls basketball game Thursday.

The Owls (14-2) owned a 33-22 lead at halftime, but the Jaguars (14-7) clawed their way back to outscore Hancock 39-21 in the second half.

Emily Roelike and Julie Hieserich added 13 points each for the Jagurs.

Bree Holleman led Hancock (14-2) with 14 points. Hannah Newhouse had 11 points and eight rebounds.
