Girls basketball: Blackjacks take down RCW

RENVILLE — Renville County West led Camden North Conference-leader Dawson-Boyd early in the game but foul trouble cost the Jaguars and the Blackjacks prevailed 59-22 on Friday.
The Blackjacks improved to 12-2 in the conference and 19-2 overall. RCW fell to 1-12 in the league and 3-17 overall.
RCW led 12-10 in the early going but had to sub in for players in foul trouble and Dawson-Boyd’s pressure defense took its toll.
Justine Lee led the Blackjacks with 26 points, Mari Lee had 11 and Kelly Husby scored 10.
Sadie Treml led the Jaguars with 10 points and Steph Wersal and Grace Robertson both grabbed 7 rebounds.
The Jaguars are scheduled to play Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart at home on Monday.
