Girls basketball: Bluejays take out MACCRAY

PRINSBURG — Central Minnesota Christian’s Mary Covert had 13 points and 5 rebounds to lead a balanced Bluejays attack in a 53-27 win over MACCRAY in a Camden Conference game on Tuesday night.
The Bluejays evened their conference record at 7-7 and they are 12-8 overall. The Wolverines fell to 3-11 in the conference and 4-17 overall.
Jaci Swart finished with 9 points, all on 3-point shots, and Karisa Wubben scored 8 points. Lexi Scott had 6 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals.
MACCRAY’s Ali Siverhus and Taylor Grussing both scored 9 points and Grussing had 7 rebounds. Aleah Schwitters scored 3 points and led CMCS with 10 rebounds and 6 steals.xx
The Bluejays play next at Renville County West at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
