Girls Basketball: BOLD’s Sigurdson reaches historic 2,000-point plateau
OLIVIA — Carly Sigurdson — BOLD’s all-time leading scorer in basketball, boys or girls — reached another milestone Monday as the senior guard reached the 2,000-point plateau in the Warriors’ 73-55 rout of Central Minnesota Christian.
Sigurdson made a steal and went in for a layup at the 12:39 mark of the first half to reach 2,000 career points. She now has 2,025 points, good for fourth all-time amongst girls in the Tribune coverage area.
