Sigurdson made a steal and went in for a layup at the 12:39 mark of the first half to reach 2,000 career points. She now has 2,025 points, good for fourth all-time amongst girls in the Tribune coverage area.

Sigurdson finished the game with 33 points, 5 assists and 4 steals to help BOLD (14-9) win for the fifth time in its last six games. The Warriors will look to continue their strong play today at Sauk Centre as they face the Mainstreeters in the West Central Conference Championship. BOLD won the South with Sauk Centre taking the North title after upending Morris/Chokio-Alberta last night.

BOLD, which also got 10 points from both Baylie Kubesh and Mallarie Steffel, was in control for the majority of the game, owning a 25-point lead at one time.

Kubesh and Ashley Schmitz also shelled out 5 assists as Steffel and Andrea Maher paced the team with 6 rebounds apiece.

A balanced CMCS (12-8) attack was led by Alexis Scott and Abby Zwart with 11 points each, and Karisa Wubben and Mary Covert adding another 9 each.
