Girls basketball: Cardinal girls start busy week today

The Willmar Cardinals girls basketball team wraps up the regular season this week with three games, two on the road and one at home.
The Cardinals travel to CLC nemesis Alexandria today, host Section 2AAA rival Marshall on Thursday and are at St. Cloud Tech on Friday. As of Monday, Willmar (11-11 overall) is 7-7, Alexandria 10-3 and Tech 7-6 in the CLC. Marshall is 20-3 overall.
