Girls Basketball: CMCS tops RCW, 38-30

RENVILLE -- Central Minnesota Christian advanced with a first-round win over Renville County West 38-30 in Section 3A girls basketball action Friday.

The teams combined to miss 79 shots and each shot under 30 percent.

Briana Wubben paced the Bluejays (8-14) with 15 points and 10 rebounds. She made 7-of-8 free throws. Lisa Ohden added nine points.

Kelsey Brink tossed in 15 points for the Jaguars, who end the season with a 9-15 record under first-year head coach Adam Foslien. Morgan Elliot collected 13 caroms.
