GROVE CITY -- Kayla Dallmann's jumper in the lane with 5:15 left in the first half gave the 5-10 senior forward her 1,000th career point and helped Atwater-Cosmos-Grove city defeat Lac qui Parle Valley 61-50 in a West Central South Conference game on Tuesday.

Dallmann entered the game with 990 points. She scored 11 of her 15 points in the first half and now has 1,005 career points. She is only the third ACGC female to reach the 1,000-point mark.

Liberty Slinden led the Falcons (11-4, 14-10) with 21 points and 13 rebounds. Lauren Kinzler added 12 points, including three 3-pointers.

Andrea Rheingans had 16 points and seven rebounds for the Eagles (4-11, 6-16). Micaela Erickson had 13 points, eight rebounds and four steals.

Julia Ahrndt led four Braves (9-7, 14-9) in double figures with 16 points. Jenny Bouta followed with 15 points, Abby Fragodt had a double-double of 14 points and 14 rebounds and Taylor Semler chipped in 10 points.

Bryanna Burg scored a game-high 19 points to pace the Bulldogs (1-15, 3-18). She also grabbed six rebounds. Jordan Spaulding sank four 3-pointers and finished with 16 points.

Megan Dierks led a balanced scoring attack with 14 points, followed by Stef Strobel with 13 points. Alissa Melberg pulled down seven rebounds.

Minnewaska's Emily Roering led all scorers with 31 points. Cassie Jacobs claimed 10 rebounds and Brittany Mensing dished out six assists.
