“I think our pressure wore them down some in the second half,” said KMS head coach Brady DeBaere. “We were able to outrun them for some unopposed layups and open looks at the 3-point line.”

The Saints shooters hit four of their six 3-pointers in the second half.

KMS sank 6 of 11 bonus shots: two each by Hayley Helms and Ali Miller and one apiece by Maddie Strandberg and Jenna Berget.

But senior center Ali Clark of KMS led all scorers with 13 points, plus nabbing 8 rebounds. Helms, Strandberg and Miller each finished with 8 points.

The Jaguars had Becca Gruber with 8 points, Megan Weller with 7 and Taylor Braegelman with 6.
