Girls basketball: KMS marches past Ortonville to pick up 10th win

KERKHOVEN — The KMS girls basketball team took control of the game early and warmed up for a busy week with a 65-29 non-conference victory over Ortonville on Monday.
KMS’s Maddi Strandberg scored 15 points to lead the Saints and Sam Dunn scored 14 points and pulled down a team-high 6 rebounds.
Ali Clark had 11 points and 5 rebounds, Ali Krieger scored 7 points and Jenna Berget hit two 3-pointers and joined teammate Courtney Olson with 6 points.
The Saints improved to 10-3 and got to work on some plays and schemes in anticipation of tonight’s Camden Conference game at Tracy-Milroy-Balaton and Friday’s home conference game against Russell-Tyler-Ruthton, said head coach Brady DeBaere.
