Girls Basketball: Litch edges MCA in OT

MORRIS — Litchfield took the lead with 7 seconds left in overtime to edge Morris/Chokio-Alberta 50-48 on Thursday.

The Tigers’ Becca Holland tied the game at 44 at the end of regulation. It went back and forth in OT before the Dragons took the lead for good and MCA missed a three as time expired.

Litchfield center Hannah Norlin scored a game-high 22 points, and Macy Huhner had 9.

Lauren Reimers led the Tigers with 14 points and 6 assists, and Abbie Olson had 7 points and 7 rebounds.

The Tigers (3-3) host Paynesville today, and Litchfield is off until Jan. 3 when they host Becker.
