LITCHFIELD -- In a game in which both teams went to the free-throw line numerous times, Litchfield ended its three-game losing streak with a 64-56 Wright County Conference victory over Delano Friday night.

The Dragons cashed 23-of-44 free shots, while Delano drained 22-of-29.

Kayla Sommerfeld led Litchfield (5-8, 9-10) with 19 points. Courtney Euerle had 12 points and 11 rebounds and Shelbie Walsh had 10 points.

Paige Schaust had 21 points for Delano (3-9, 6-12).

Kendra Schmidgall and Illissa Koehl netted 17 points apiece and Bree Holleman pumped in another 16 to help Hancock (15-2) win its 11th straight.

The Owls shot just under 50 percent from the field while Holleman also collected seven rebounds and seven assists. Lauren Nelson also hooked seven rebounds and Koehl pocketed five steals.
