CLARA CITY -- MACCRAY's 12-0 run near the end of the first half erased a 19-15 lead for Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg and led to a 60-47 Wolverines win in Camden North Conference action Friday.

MACCRAY (5-2, 9-4) took a 27-19 lead after the run, but Esther Peterson's buzzer-beating three-pointer made the score 27-22 at halftime.

Hilary Groothuis scored 20 points and had eight rebounds for the Wolverines. Tory Brouwer added 15 points and seven boards.

Peterson tallied 16 for the Fighting Saints (3-4, 8-4) and hauled in 11 rebounds for a double-double.

Britta Helgeson scored 13 of her career-high 21 points in the second half and Chelsie Kurtenbach sank 12 of her 14 points after intermission to spark the Blackjacks, who rallied from a 27-all halftime tie.

The Blackjacks (5-1, 9-2) remained a game behind front-running Lakeview in the conference race.

Kurtenbach and Kelly Swenson each notched a double-double. Kurtenbach also pulled down 11 rebounds, while Swenson had 14 points and 10 rebounds. Nikki Swenson made six steals.

Gruber finished with a game-high 25 points while April Hansen amassed 16 more for the Jaguars. Hansen also grabbed 13 rebounds while Tiffany Gruber netted 10 points.
