Minnewaska (8-1, 10-3) and Morris/Chokio-Alberta (8-1, 12-2) both won on Tuesday night and each remained in a tie for the West Central South Conference lead, one-half game ahead of Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City (7-1, 9-6).

Paynesville 60, BOLD 51

Jordan Spaulding scored 28 points to lead the Bulldogs to their first conference win. Heather Rondeau added nine points and eight rebounds.

Brittany Dahlk scored 14 points to pace BOLD. Brenna Holwerda added 11 points.

Emily Roering made two free throws for the Lakers (8-1, 10-3) to seal the win.

Cassie Jacobs led Minnewaska with 19 points and six rebounds. Roering added 14 points, dished out eight assists and had five steals.

Aimee Johnson scored 12 points and had seven rebounds for the Sting (5-3, 6-5).
