Girls Basketball: NLS cruises to 20th win

MELROSE -- Justine Dammermann knocked down four 3-pointers and handed out nine assists to help New London-Spicer down Melrose 69-35 in a West Central North Conference girls basketball game Thursday.

Dammermann finished with 14 points, as did Taylor Thompsen, and now has made 13 three-pointers in the Wildcats' last four games. Karli Wendlandt added 11 points and five steals.

It was the seventh straight win for NLS (12-1, 20-2).

Kristen Herdering had 14 points to lead Melrose (7-6, 9-10).
