MONTEVIDEO — BOLD’s explosive run through the Section 3AANorth bracket ran out of powder at halftime Friday in the Montevideo High School gym. With their four seniors leading the fireworks, the Warriors had a can’tmiss first half to take a 39-28 lead on Redwood Valley. Then the clock struck midnight. The Cardinals took over the game, the BOLD offense came unglued and the No. 3 seed in the North blew by the No. 4 Warriors 65-53 for the sub-section championship.
