Girls basketball roundup: ACGC tops Benson

GROVE CITY -- Despite a 30-point effort from Emma Peterson, the Benson Braves (2-2, 4-7) fell 63-49 to Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City in a West Central South game on Thursday.

Erica Melbie, Chelsea Jans and Jessica Gilbert all scored in double-digits for the Falcons (2-0, 5-5).

Melbie hit three 3-pointers and had 3 steals in addition to her 13 points.

Sydney Larson added 6 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
