Girls basketball roundup: BOLD wins 14th straight

MONTEVIDEO — BOLD racked up double-digit scoring and beat Montevideo 69-52 for its 14th straight win on Thursday.

Taylor Ebnet 17 points for the Warriors (13-2, 21-3).

Maggie Nagel and Carly Sigurdson each collected 16 points, and Baylie Kubesh 11. Nagel also had 6 rebounds.

Montevideo’s Tia Diggins led the T-Hawks with 17 points, and Natalie Feldhake had 5 points and 6 rebounds.

BOLD wraps up its regular season on Tuesday at home against Paynesville, and Montevideo plays at Morris/Chokio-Alberta today.

The Litchfield defense was superb, limiting Minnewaska to 13 points in both halves of a non-conference game on Thursday in Litchfield.

The Dragons held the Lakers to 30 percent shooting and just 37 attempts.

Litchfield, however, shot well, hitting 51 percent from the field.

Greta Walsh scored 22 points and eight other Dragons scored.
