BOLD never let the Tigers get going, taking a 37-14 lead into the locker room at halftime.

The Warriors’ Baylie Kubesh had 12 points, 7 boards, 6 assists and 4 steals and Taylor Ebnet had 10 points and 4 assists.

Katie Holzheimer led the Tigers with 15 points and Beth Holland scored 9 points.

The BBE girls basketball team ran into one of the area’s top teams and struggled mightily in the second half, falling in a non-conference game on Tuesday.

Macy Weller led the Mainstreeters with 26 points and Elizabeth Ellens scord 9. Nine Mainstreeters players scored at least 2 points as they improved to 13-1.

 BBE’s Megan Weller score 10 points and grabbed 8 rebounds, Taylor Braegelman scored 9 and Hailey Braegelman had a team-high 9 rebounds.

The Wildcats turned a 42-26 deficit into a 52-51 lead after piecing together a late-game surge, but Dassel-Cokato got the final word.

After NLS took the slim lead with 25 seconds left, DC turned the ball over and fouled NLS with eight seconds left. NLS misfired on both attempts at the foul line and Andi Gayner snagged the rebound on the second miss for DC with 8 seconds left. The junior forward then made both foul shots to give the Chargers their 11th win.

Taylor Thunstedt produced 27 points, Ashlyn Geister 9 and Lydia Kieft 8 for NLS. Megan Thorson added 7 rebounds. Gayner finished with 24 points.

Behind a balanced offensive attack, Hancock downed Wheaton/Herman-Norcross in a Pheasant Conference game on Tuesday.

Serandon Bigalke led an Owls offense that had three players score in double figures and three others score between 6 and 9 points. The Owls built a 15-point edge by halftime and limited the Warriors to 16 second-half points.

Sami Schmidgall scored 11 points and Courtney Greiner had 10 points and 8 rebounds.
