FAIRFAX — Ashley Hoehne pumped in 24 points, Morgan Reidinger 18 and Abby Olson 13 to help the visiting Thunder Hawks win for the seventh time over their last eight games as Montevideo outlasted Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop 80-71 Saturday in a non-conference game.

It was the Thunder Hawks’ third straight win and they now stand at 12-4 overall.

Hoehne (9) and Reidinger (5) also combined to hook nearly half of the team’s 29 rebounds, while Reidinger, along with Jessie Janisch, added 3 steals. Tori Kuhlmann handed out a team-high 4 assists as Montevideo overcame a game-high 39 points from Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Thunderbirds freshman Halley Busse.
