Girls basketball roundup: Thunder Hawks take down Eagles

MONTEVIDEO — Ashley Hoehne posted 24 points and the Thunder Hawks pulled away to beat Lac qui Parle Valley 50-35 on Tuesday in Montevideo.

Montevideo (9-5, 12-8) led by just one at the half, but made a late push with a 30-point second half.

Tia Diggins put up 11 points and 4 steals, and Natalie Feldhake had 9 points and 11 rebounds.

Hoehne also had 9 rebounds.

Kaitlin Connor paced the Eagles (4-11, 6-15) with 11 points and 7 rebounds.
