Girls basketball roundup: Warriors rip Wolverines

OLIVIA — BOLD’s Carly Sigurdson moved within eight points of 2,000 career points with a 32-point effort in a 68-22 win over MACCRAY on Saturday.

Sigurdson goes for the milestone — she would be the fourth in Tribune-area history — when the Warriors play host to Central Minnesota Christian School at 7:30 p.m. today in Olivia.

Hannah Norlin scored a career-high 30 points and spiked 20 rebounds in the loss to the ’Streeters (16-5). The Dragons made a run at the end to cut a 13-point deficit to a deuce.

The Dragons return to Wright Conference play Tuesday at Dassel-Cokato and are at home Friday to close the schedule vs. New London-Spicer.
