CLARA CITY -- The BOLD Warriors jumped out 13-0 and breezed to a 57-19 win over MACCRAY at the gym in Clara City on Thursday.

This should be good season for the Warriors who have four starters back from a team that was coming on at the end of last season.

The Wolverines have a different look after losing their top seven. The new lineup, unlike past teams, can't put out anyone over 5-foot-10.

Carly Sigurdson led the BOLD scoring with 26 points, many coming when she got free for layups. Baylie Kubesh added 13 points and Taylor Ebnet supplied six assists plus seven steals.

The Wolverines made just 7 of 41 field goal attempts. Top scorer was sophomore guard Ali Siverhus with 6 points. Aleah Schwitters nabbed 9 rebounds.
