WILLMAR — The Willmar Cardinals overcame a six-point Mankato West advantage with 7:25 left by holding the Scarlets without a score over the next 6 minutes to capture a 67-57 Section 2AAA win in a

Saturday matinee at the Willmar gym.

Willmar knocked down 23 of 33 free throws (70 percent), had a season-low six turnovers and a 34-25 advantage in rebounds.
