ANNANDALE -- The Litchfield girls golf team captured the Wright County Conference title after a pair of nine hole wins Tuesday.

The Dragons shot a 168 to win the first of two nine-hole events, then followed with a 192 on the back nine for the second win. Litchfield shot 2,065 strokes over 11 meets, beating Waconia's 2,126.

Kristen Solbrack led the Dragons on the front nine with a 39 and Katlyn Kiehn shot a 44 on the back nine. Both earned medalist honors.

Five golfers were named to the all-conference team.

Willmar struggled in Tuesday's windy conditions as conference leader Alexandria took top honors in the Richmond meet.

Maggie Leland led Alexandria with the day's top score of 77.

Willmar finished sixth out of eight teams.

After four meets, Alexandria holds the conference lead with 36 points. Willmar is tied with St. Cloud Apollo for third place with 24.5 conference points.
