PAYNESVILLE -- Another girls golf season began with Minnewaska Area winning another West Central South Conference meet Tuesday.

The two-time defending Class A champion Lakers topped the nine-team field by 50 points at Koronis Hills in Paynesville. Minnewaska also captured five of the top six spots, with Sarah Roering the medalist with a 39.
