Girls golf roundup: BOLD takes WCS meet

MORRIS -- BOLD had three golfers place among the top five and won a West Central South Conference meet at Morris' Pomme de Terre Golf Club on Tuesday.

BOLD shot 183 to finish eight strokes ahead of second-place Montevideo, and Morris/Chokio-Alberta was third at 197.

Benson's Kellie Enderson was the meet's top scorer, shooting 43.

BOLD's Ashley Schmitz and Breann Mertens tied for second at 44, and Chloe Altmann was in a three-way tie for fourth at 46.

BOLD maintains its overall conference lead, six points ahead of Montevideo, with two of the seven WCS meets remaining.
