Girls Golf Roundup: Willmar's Setrum 11th in CLC opener

COLD SPRING — Eighth-place Willmar had Raelin Setrum place in the top 15 at the Central Lakes Conference opener Monday at Rich Spring Golf Course.

Setrum shaved off three strokes on the back nine after coming in at 44. First-place Alexandria had Brynn Novotny claim medalist honors with Jenny Muesing of Brainerd at 79.

MACCRAY’s Baillee Hauser and Ali Dahle of Lac qui Parle Valley tied for fourth place with 97s in the second conference meet of the season. The conference championship is next Monday at the Marshall Golf Club starting at 9 a.m.

Minneota won the team title with a 397, 49 shots better than runner-up Wabasso.

Pacing fourth-place Dawson-Boyd was Tracy Polzine’s 110.
