Kallevig shot 39-38-77 for a two-day total of 155.

Seventh-grader Levi Hauser shot 77-82-159 and junior Cody Magnuson 76-85-161 for the Cardinals.

In the girls tournament at the Long Prairie Country Club, Willmar junior Raelin Setrum placed ninth Tuesday, but it wasn't enough to qualify for the state tournament.

Setrum missed out advancing to state by four strokes after carding a two-day total of 175 (89-86).

"She played really well and hung in there," said Willmar coach Jodi Mottinger. "She didn't take more than a bogey on a hole. She was happy with her round, but I thought maybe she would have squeaked in there."

Alexandria was seven shots lower than Central Lakes Conference rival St. Cloud Tech to capture the team title and advance to the Class AAA state meet.
