Girls hockey: Alexandria shoots down Stars

ALEXANDRIA — Shelby Iverson scored two goals and Becca Illies had a goal and two assists to lead Alexandria to a 4-1 Central Lakes Conference win over River Lakes Tuesday.
The Cardinals remained unbeaten in CLC play, improving to 5-0 in conference games.
River Lakes’ Carly Roda scored a second-period goal and Stars goalie Shannon Clark made 31 saves.
The Stars play next against Wadena/Deer Creek at 2 p.m. Saturday in Richmond.
