Girls hockey: LDC blanks Hutchinson

LITCHFIELD — Danielle Elam needed just 17 saves to record a shutout as Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato blanked Hutchinson 5-0 Friday in a Wright County Conference game.
The Dragons netted three goals in the second period and two more in the third. LDC fired off 53 shots on goal, including 20 in the middle period.
