Girls hockey: LDC ties with Icebreakers

LITCHFIELD -- Kennedy Sommerfeld crashed the net on a 6-on-4 Dragons advantage to score the tying goal with 58 seconds left in regulation to tie the St. Cloud Icebreakers 3-3 on Tuesday.

LDC goalie Danielle Elam fended off one attack after another to end up with 43 saves.

Sarah Kvisto and Teegan Wyffels also scored for the Dragons, who played three players short at the Willmar Invite but had two back for this non-conference game.
