Girls Hockey: Willmar girls are GPA state champs

The Willmar Girls Hockey team is the Class A State Academic Champions a third year in a row. The announcement was made Saturday at the Ms. Hockey Banquet. Accepting were seniors Becca Freese and Baylie Young and head coach Jason Mayer.

Willmar's GPA of 3.860 outranked AA Academic champion Farmington (3.854).
