Leah Stinson put the first goal in for Alexandria (4-2-2, 6-2-3) on a penalty kick at 27:00.

Gabrielle Koel and Rachel Drew added goals in the second half for Alexandria, and Willmar (2-5-1, 4-7-2) couldn't answer.

"We started off strong (but) that first penalty kick threw us off a little bit," Willmar coach Chelsea Brown said.

Willmar struggled with three senior starters (Baylie Young, Paige Davis and Rachel Lawton) out with injuries.

"There were a lot of new girls playing a lot of new positions and they did well with that," Brown said. "They just couldn't quite get one in the goal."

Willmar's next game will be on Thursday against Sartell in Willmar.
