CLARA CITY — MACCRAY played a solid all-around match to down Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd 7-0 on Tuesday.

The Wolverines won all seven matches in straight sets, with only the second set of the 3-doubles match going to a tiebreaker.

Lisa Dobbelaere at 1-singles, Taylor Bengtson at 4-singles and the doubles team of Megan Holme and Brianne Bergh won both of their matches as the New London-Spicer girls tennis team split matches with Benson and Becker.

Benson also fell to Becker 5-2.

Overall for the Braves, in singles, Kellie Enderson and Raquel Curriel were 1-0, Maggie Buyck was 0-2, Susan Zniewski, Katie Samuelson and Brittany Honerman were 0-1.

In doubles, the Braves’ Zniewski, Samuelson, Enderson and Olivia Vergin were 0-1, Melanie Reese, Kendra Dingman, Samantha Payne and Kelsey Rajewski were 0-2.

Benson is 2-3 and plays next in the Long Prairie-Grey Eagle quad with LPGE, Little Falls and Osakis on Friday.
