Girls tennis roundup: Tech blanks Willmar

WILLMAR -- The Willmar girls tennis team ran into a solid St. Cloud Tech squad and lost 7-0 on Tuesday.

But the experience was a good one for the Cardinals, said head coach Jim Anderson.

"Tech's a well-coached team and they are sound fundamentally," Anderson said. "It was a great match for our players to play against a strong team. We just have to get quicker and be more focused."

The Cardinals, now 3-2, play next at Brainerd in a Central Lakes Conference match at 4:30 p.m.
