Gladys P. Hoberg Feb. 18, 1941 - April 3, 2009
BENSON -- Gladys Patricia Hoberg, 68, of Benson died Friday at Bethesda Heritage Care Center in Willmar.
The service is at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Catholic Church in Benson. Burial will be in Benson City Cemetery.
Visitation is from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Arrangements are with the Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson.
She was born on Feb. 18, 1941, in Benson to Henry and Margaret (Fernell) Peerboom. She grew up in Danvers and graduated from the Holloway High School.
On Aug. 1, 1964, she married Elmer Charles Hoberg in Danvers. They made their home in Clontarf, Swift Falls, Danvers and then Benson. Over the years, she worked at Benson Produce, Fingerhut, Jennie-O, and most recently, for the Family Dollar Store in Benson.
She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Benson.
She is survived by her husband; children: Charles Hoberg of Benson, Patty (and Jerry) Wrobleski of Willmar, Paula Jones (and Steve Ramos) of Willmar, and Penny Ivy (and Doug) Mulder of Lake Lillian; 11 grandchildren; siblings: Jim (and Donna) Peerboom of Rockford, Ill., Marie (and Sylvester) Muelbauer of Danvers, Anne Geyer of Benson, Elaine Schultz of Benson and Rose Bannister of Starbuck.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
