Granite Falls woman hurt in crash west of Brownton

BROWNTON -- An 18-year-old Granite Falls woman was airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center for treatment of injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash around 8:20 a.m. today west of Brownton.

According to the State Patrol, Olivia C. Jeseritz was driving a 2008 Pontiac eastbound on Highway 212 and sideswiped a 2002 Freightliner truck. The westbound truck, driven by James F. Trettin, 69, of Hutchinson, rolled after attempting to avoid the Pontiac. The crash blocked both lanes of traffic on the highway.

The severity of Jeseritz' injuries was unknown, according to the report. Trettin was treated and released from Hutchinson Hospital.
