CLARA CITY --Grant Reiners, 48, of Grand Rapids, formerly of the Clara City area, died Friday at St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth after a battle with cancer.
The service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Clara City. Private family burial will take place at a later date.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Memorials are preferred to St. Mary's Hospice of Duluth or the Dr. Lyle Munneke Scholarship at the UMD School of Medicine. Arrangements are with Wing-Bain Funeral Home of Clara City.
He was born May 11, 1960, in Willmar to Earl and Beverly (Johnson) Reiners. He grew up in Clara City and attended high school in Clara City and Redwood Falls. Over the years, he worked at Butch's Café, Walt's Car Wash, Hanson Silo Co., Steven Thang, Sound A Round Town, Teckla Audio Mach I and Viking Forest Products.
He is survived by his mother: Beverly Falk of New London; siblings: Kirk (and Dena) Reiners of Burnsville, Monica (and Dalen) Gosseling of Starbuck and Jason Reiners of Bird Island; stepfather: Wendell Falk; stepsiblings: Jim (and Karen) Falk, Sandra (and Bruce) Grosland and Bonnie (and Dale) Thurston.
He was preceded in death by his father.
