Gymnastics: Bratberg 3rd all-around in 6A; Berry wins balance beam

MORRIS -- Allison Bratberg of New London-Spicer tied for third all-around and also qualified for state in bars and beam at the Section 6A gymnastics meet Saturday.

Bratberg scored a 34.55 to tie Maddie Bearson of Sartell for third. Hailey Brinkman of Melrose was first all-around with a 36.55 and Amanda Ertl of Sartell was second with a 35.05.

Breanna Berry of Litchfield was first on balance beam with a 9.275.

The top team and top four individuals in each event qualify for the state gymnastics meet Feb. 26-27 at the Sports Pavilion in Minneapolis.

Bratberg was fourth in bars (8.325) and balance beam (8.925). Michele Hanson of Benson/KMS placed third on vault (9.2) and Alanna Dietz of NLS was fourth on floor (8.8).
