Gymnastics: Sartell edges Willmar

SARTELL -- Sartell edged past the Willmar gymnastics team behind strong performances from Mickey and Mack Dockendorf, with a 131.2-131.075 victory over the Cardinals on Thursday.

Willmar won two events with Abby Weiler placing first in floor exercises with a score of 9.05 and Stephanie Thompson taking first in the balance beam with a score of 9.2.

Weiler also placed second on the balance beam, third in all-around and third on the bars.

Thompson finished fourth in all-around and Cassie Johnson finished fourth on the bars.

Sartell's Mickey Dockendorf placed first in all-around, vault and bars, and Mack Dockendorf placed second in the same three events.
