Haas -- Koenen

Brittany Haas and Matthew Koenen were united in marriage Nov. 5 at Bethany Reformed Church in Clara City.

The bride is the daughter of Mark and Becky Haas of Raymond. The groom is the son of Kurt and Maria Koenen of Clara City.

Maid of honor was Carly Haas, sister of the bride. Bride's attendants were Naomi Koenen, sister-in-law of the groom; Kayla Brandt, Brittany Grussing and Amanda Berreau, friends of the bride; and Dannielle Burns, cousin of the bride. Flower girls were Alison Koenen, Elizabeth Koenen and Sadie Koenen, nieces of the groom.

Best men were Shawn Koenen and Josh Koenen, brothers of the groom. Groom's attendants were Ross Brandt, friend of the groom; Cody Haas, brother of the bride; and Kaleb Schwendemann, cousin of the groom.

Ushers were Brad Berghuis and Glenn Dirksen, friends of the groom, and Jaden Schwendemann, cousin of the groom.

A reception and dance were held at the American Legion in Willmar.

The couple lives in Benson where the bride is employed as a physical therapist assistant at the Meadow Lane Nursing Home. The groom is a substitute school paraprofessional and a junior high basketball coach.
