Habitat now accepting electronics for recycling

WILLMAR -- Habitat for Humanity of West Central Minnesota is now accepting electronics for recycling at its location near downtown Willmar.

Electronics will be accepted from 9 a.m.to 11 a.m. Monday through Thursday at 619 Benson Ave. S.W.

There will be no fee for recycling, but donations of $5 to $10 will be requested for televisions, computer monitors and microwaves. Proceeds will support the mission of Habitat for Humanity.

Habitat is working in partnership with Vintage Tech Recyclers, a recycler certified by the Environmental Protection Agency.

Items accepted include computers, monitors, keyboards, televisions, phones, copiers, fax machines, remotes, irons, hair dryers, radios and microwaves. A full list of accepted items is on Habitat website, www.habitatwcm.org.
