ROSEVILLE (AP) — A project engineer from a northwest Minneapolis suburb has come forward to claim one-third of a $448 million Powerball jackpot.

Paul White, of Ham Lake, was introduced Thursday afternoon at a news conference at the Minnesota State Lottery's headquarters.

The other two winning tickets were sold in New Jersey.

White says he learned he was holding a winning ticket Thursday morning after his "significant other" called him to say one of three winners had been sold in Minnesota. He says he purchased two tickets for Wednesday's drawing, and found one matched all six numbers.
