MOORHEAD -- Hancock overcame a cold night at the free-throw line and upended Ada-Borup 44-39 in the Section 6A girls basketball championship game Saturday at Concordia College.

The game was moved From Friday night to Saturday afternoon because of snow and high winds.

"We were all fired up to play on Friday and then it's kind of a letdown when they postponed the game," said Hancock coach Jodi Holleman. "But the girls came back the next day and played an excellent first half."
