Hansen contributing for UMD volleyball

April Hansen, a freshman from Brooten, is among the top hitters this season for the University of Minnesota, Duluth volleyball team.

Hansen is fourth on the team with 201 kills and her kill percentage of .295 is the Bulldogs' second-best mark. The Bulldogs are 20-8 after Tuesday's 3-1 loss to Concordia-St. Paul, the nation's top-ranked team in NCAA Division II. Hansen had 24 kills.
